Well, well, well. Looks like Google’s at it again, updating their content creation guidance and revamping their Search Console reports. And boy, do they want you to know how important page experience is.

So, what’s new in “useful content update”? 

According to the all-knowing Matt G. Southern, Google has added a section dedicated to page experience in their helpful content creation guidance.

But let’s be real, we all know that Google is just trying to emphasize the importance of page experience because they want their users to have a good time. And who can blame them? Nobody wants to use a website that looks like it was designed in the 90s.

But don’t worry, they’re not introducing any major changes. They’re just streamlining their existing guidance, which is fancy talk for making things easier to understand. And apparently, Core Web Vitals are still crucial for page experience success, as they always have been. So, no need to panic, folks. Just keep doing what you’re doing.

And why are we even creating this content in the first place? Is it to help people or just to manipulate search engine rankings? If it’s the latter, shame on you. And shame on me for even suggesting it.
